DevOps Engineer

About the role

Our clients’ infrastructure won’t automate itself. Well, that’s exactly what we need you to make it do. You’ll work with teams who are serious about doing cloud properly, building reliable, automated infrastructure on AWS with Kubernetes at the centre of it. If you get a kick out of watching a pipeline go green, we should talk.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines that work reliably
• Manage Kubernetes clusters on EKS
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform (clicking around the console doesn’t count)
• Monitor and optimise cloud costs (someone has to)
• Support development teams with tooling and best practices

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of DevOps or platform engineering experience
• Strong AWS knowledge (EC2, EKS, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation)
• Kubernetes experience (deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting)
• Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python)
• Comfortable picking up new tools quickly and figuring things out independently

Nice to have

• GitOps experience (ArgoCD, Flux)
• Service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
• Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Security automation

What we won’t ask you to do

• Sit through pointless meetings that could have been a Slack message
• Fill in timesheets in 15-minute increments
• Pretend to look busy when there’s nothing urgent
